This section deals with road warning signs. The high intensity reflective warning signs meet State DOT and Federal MUTCD guidelines along with the new federal retroreflectivity requirements for black on yellow signs. High quality, long lasting, and trouble free. Beware of the cheaper brands that fade in direct sunlight after 2 years of use. Road Warning Sign Information
What is advanced engineer grade reflective signs? These signs will reflect at night when light hits it. Signs are .080 inch thick flat aluminum with 3M's new advanced engineer grade prismatic sheeting applied over the surface, the lettering and background is reflective. Advanced engineer grade offers superior daytime and nighttime brightness compared to standard EG with beaded optics. Signs will never rust and normally have an average life span of 7 years. High quality materials result in longer lasting signs and excellent resistance to fading. Meets ASTM D4956 type I specification.
What is high intensity prismatic reflective road signs? These signs will reflect at night when light hits it by using encapsulated lens material which offers better reflectivity compared to standard engineer grade reflective signs. These signs are 3 times more reflective then engineer grade and rated for longer life spans. High intensity traffic signs are .080 inch thick flat aluminum with high intensity reflective sheeting applied over the surface. Signs will never rust and have an average life span of 12 years. High quality materials result in longer lasting signs and superior resistance to fading. Signs meet most State and Federal D.O.T. specifications, type IV prismatic reflective. Meets the new federal retroreflectivity requirements for black on yellow signs.
What is diamond grade fluorescent yellow/green prismatic road signs? This sheeting is about 10 times brighter than engineer grade at shallow viewing angles. Rated for a 10 year life span. Signs exceed most State and Federal D.O.T. specifications, type XI prismatic reflective.
