This section deals with signs that prohibit or restrict certain actions. These signs are advanced engineer grade reflective on thick .080" rustproof aluminum which normally last seven years. Advanced engineer grade prismatic offers superior daytime and nighttime brightness compared to standard EG. High quality, long lasting, and trouble free. Additional Information These signs are .080 inch thick flat aluminum with 3M's new advanced engineer grade prismatic sheeting applied over the surface, the lettering and background is reflective. Advanced engineer grade offers superior daytime and nighttime brightness compared to standard EG with beaded optics. Comes with standard mounting holes centered top and bottom for easy installations. They accept 5/16" bolts and nuts and a standard length to use is 2 1/2" which may be purchased in our hardware section. High quality materials result in longer lasting signs and excellent resistance to fading. Beware of any brands thinner then .080", (.040 or .063) can be easily bent by vandals. Typically installed on U channel posts which may be purchased in our sign posts section. Please refer to the MUTCD which gives examples of how high the signs should be.
